On
a visit to Germany in December, 2001, we visited Lauscha in the
Thurginian Countryside. Lauscha is renown as the center of
German glass blowing. Here the ornaments are hand-blown
and hand-painted by craftsmen.
Anyone
who visits Lauscha wants to take home as many of these wonderful
glass ornaments as you can safely carry.
Now
we are offering these hand-crafted glass ornaments here in
America. Our ornaments are made by Michael Haberland, a
third-generation glass blower. Using molds he inherited
from his grandfather, Michael produces an extensive line of
beautiful ornaments.
